Kyoko Fukada
Discovered in a 1996 talent search, Tokyo native Kyoko Fukada made her debut in a drama series in 1997. Kyoko,
who has won many awards for her acting, has performed in over 20 TV dramas, commercials, photo books, and eight
theatrical films, including The Ring 2 (Japan) and Kamikaze Girls. In Kamikaze Girls, Kyoko plays Momoko, a girl
determined to live in the elegant manner of eighteenth-century aristocratic France. Her performance as a somewhat
indifferent Lolita in Kamikaze Girls contrasts sharply with the tearful drama roles she's played in the past.
Currently, Kyoko is set to star in a Japanese film entitled Tenshi (Angel). She's also promoting skin-care
cosmetics in TV ads and starring in a new drama series in Japan.
Anna Tsuchuya
Anna Tsuchuya plays the freedom-seeking bousouzoku (biker) named Ichigo in Kamikaze Girls. She first began her career
modeling for Seventeen magazine. Her unique features and high energy pushed her further into the spotlight, and soon
she began singing and acting full-time. Anna collaborated with former Oblivion Dust guitarist KAZ on an album called
Pisces, under the group name Spin Aqua, and will be releasing more music this year. As a model, artist, singer, actress,
and mother, Anna has become a shining star in the world of Japanese pop culture. Currently modeling, promoting clothing, and
learning to play the guitar, Anna will continue to appear onscreen and onstage. |
