Well, Riiko and Night have done the deed. Hooray for modern technology! But Riiko is far from the only shojo heroine to spend a lot of time thinking (and worrying) about sex: whether to do it, when to do it, and with whom to do it…
For better or for worse, sex is an integral part of many shojo manga, and though some of these fictional liaisons may be the stuff of fantasy, they don't always lead to a happy ending for the couple involved. Let's look at a few memorable examples. Warning: spoilers ahead!
